English singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse brought her Coolest Place In The
World Tour for a very long awaited show in Montreal, Canada on January 25, 2023. Suki is on tour in support of her album I Can’t Let Go and EP Milk Teeth released under Sub Pop records in 2022. Fans were so eager to finally see Suki live for the first time on a headlining tour after her recent visit to the city in the fall of 2022 with Father John Misty, so it was an exciting time for all.
The night got a great kickstart thanks to the opening band Blondshell performing
their singles “Olympus" and “Veronica Mars”. By the time they finished, the
crowd was clearly ready to kick off their night with Suki Waterhouse.
Earning screams from fans as she walked onto the stage, the 31-year-old opened
her set with “Bullshit On The Internet”. Suki’s 45-minute set included a great mix
of older singles such as “Johanna” and “Valentine” released in 2019 along with
tracks from her debut album “Devil I Know” and “Blessed”.
On stage, Waterhouse kept it both simple and intimate. She took a moment to
thank everyone for coming to the show during the snowstorm.
She took the stage accompanied by her band, wearing a rhinestone top under a
black blazer. With a truly captivating performance and a fully loaded venue full of
passionate fans, it’s no doubt that we’ll see Suki at a larger venue next time.
As the magical night was coming to an end and fans cheered for an encore,
Waterhouse came back on stage and performed “Blessed” followed by her TikTok
viral hit “Good Looking”.
The Coolest Place In The World Tour is continuing in Philadelphia next amongst
other dates in North America for which you can purchase tickets here.
