So Much (For) Jacksonville: Fall Out Boy Shines in Florida

Fall Out Boy is one of those bands that will always keep outdoing themselves throughout the years. I have now seen this band live four times and each time is always bigger and better than the last. On March 16th, Fall Out Boy visited the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida on their So Much For (2our) Dust tour, with guests Jimmy Eat World, The Maine, and Games We Play.

Fall Out Boy really hones in on "fan service." On top of an ever-changing setlist, they ensure each setlist has something a little special in each city. Dubbed the "Magic 8-ball Song," this is part of the set where they pick a different song at each show to play whether it's a 2006 deep cut or a 2014 iconic b-side. That night in Jacksonville they played "I’m Like a Lawyer with the Way I’m Always Trying to Get You Off (Me & You)" for the first time in full since 2014. This was a huge treat for the fans in attendance with everyone singing along to every word. I even had goosebumps.

The show made me feel like I was immersed into a world Fall Out Boy has created with bubbles, inflated doberman heads, bunny suits, and bass guitars that shoot fire... These guys are not a band you want to miss!
