Kehlani brought her electric Crash World Tour to Denver on October 15 with support from Anycia and FLO. With a full lineup of badass women, this show did not disappoint.
Atlanta-based rapper Anycia started the night off. Despite only being in the scene for a few years, she is already making a name for herself. She got the crowd hyped up while also taking a few moments to check in with the audience and make sure they were safe.
Up next was FLO, a British girl group from London. Since 2019, Jorja Douglas, Stella Quaresma, and Renée Downer have been putting out R&B and pop bangers. They made the stage their own, performing exciting choreography all while delivering beautiful vocals. It was obvious how much they loved performing and Denver showed them that love right back!
Last but certainly not least, Kehlani made her way onto the stage. She appeared at the top of a tall staircase and began performing her song “Next 2 U” to the crowd’s excitement. Soon, she was joined on stage by backup dancers. Her set was entrancing. You could not take your eyes off of Kehlani. Between dancing and singing around the stage, she stopped to chat with the audience. She mentioned how the Fillmore Auditorium stage was smaller than what she was used to. This prompted her to describe the night as a “family gathering,” referring to the crowd as her cousins.
Kehlani is a superstar and she knows it. Her thoughtful lyrics and sultry beats combined with sexy choreography make for an unforgettable performance. The Crash World Tour is still ongoing through November so if she is coming to a date near you, I would not miss it! Check out Kehlani on all streaming platforms and listen to her newest record “CRASH.”
