Cade has had a busy 2022 thanks to the release of his sophomore EP titled "Everything That's Wrong With You." "Faded Love" is his latest single that includes beautiful guitar lines and lyrics that make us think about our previous relationships. Like Cade says: "When an old love is rekindled it may be the best thing that ever happened to you… or it burns you worse the second time. You have to decide if that’s a risk you’re willing to take." Another indie-pop gem added to our playlists!
The track's instrumental is very guitar-driven, but it gets livelier throughout the chorus, with verses such as "do you want to love me just to love somebody?" Although these lyrics might be disheartening, some sweet verses make us want to fall back in love, like "you should know I've never loved a laugh like I love yours." We're romantics here at Musaholic Magazine, and we love when artists express these indescribable feelings with their lyrics. Cade's voice is also one of our favorite things from this track, as it fits with the message that "Faded Love" wants to portray. So, so good!
