Daniel Seavey - Atlanta, GA: A Night To Remember

January 10th was definitely a night to remember for those fans who attended Daniel Seavey’s concert at Buckhead Theatre. Atlanta was the 6th stop on his “Introducing Daniel Seavey” Tour, and the energy was nothing but electric the entire night!

Singer-songwriter Devin Kennedy was the opener, and he set the mood just right before Daniel Seavey took the stage. Devin performed a few of his original songs, including “No Worries” and “Loose Change,” which the audience loved. The audience was filled with excitement when he performed a cover of Alicia Keys’ song, “If I Ain’t Got You."

Before Daniel Seavey took the stage, you could feel the audience’s anticipation and excitement continue to build with every second. When he finally took the stage, fans passionately sang along as he started the show with his first official single, “Can We Pretend That We’re Good?”. His set consisted of original songs such as “Runaway” and “Goodbye." He even gave the audience a little preview of his new songs, such as “Leave Me Alone," from his upcoming EP. Daniel also performed a few covers: “Redbone” by Childish Gambino, “Bad Habit” by Steve Lacy, and more. He had every single fan singing along when he performed the song “8 Letters”, which he released in 2018 with his group Why Don’t We. During his performance, he also took some time to demonstrate his skills as a multi-instrumentalist by playing every instrument (guitar, bass, keys, drums, and cello) while singing live on-stage.

While leaving the venue, the energy was still electric, and it was easy to see that fans were already anticipating his return to Atlanta. Overall, this show was an amazing experience. If you are looking for an artist with great music and stage presence, I recommend catching one of Daniel Seavey’s concerts before his first solo tour ends. See the rest of his tour dates here.
