On Feb 21st, Colony House performed at The Underground in Charlotte (NC). Colony House put on an incredible show that made every person in attendance sing and dance. Before they took the stage, the crowd was chanting and cheering at every flicker of the light as they anticipated the night ahead.
Though this tour is for their new album "Cannonballers," Colony House mixed in fan favorites from all their albums. With songs from the new album, like the opening song, "Landlocked Surf Rock," to Colony House classics, like “Waiting for My Time to Come,” there was something for every audience member, no matter how long they have been listening to Colony House. The lead singer, Caleb Chapman, led the entire room and energy by bringing the audience through three separate sets and an encore. At one point in the night, an audience member was brought up on stage to play guitar for “2:20.” The band was immediately in sync with the audience member, and the chemistry between everyone on stage was incredible.
Colony House put on an incredible show in which the audience was captivated by their energy and their performance. By the end of the show, even though the band played more than 20 songs, everyone wanted more. Colony House mentioned that they had been to Charlotte a number of times, and I expect them back many more times after last night's reaction to the show. This show was only their fourth of the tour. Try to catch them in a city near you!
