Our featured artist this week is De Soto!
The alternative pop-rock Filipino, Los Angeles-based band is composed of five members: Janseff Inexcelso (vocals and guitar), Lee Anne San Diego (vocals), Lia Guerrero (lead guitarist), Angela Guerrero (bass), and Francis Nuega (drums). They currently have three singles under their name, and they are often inspired by their personal experiences to write their songs. Their singles "Wala Ka Na" and "Ako Na Muna" are perfect examples of their songwriting, and they incorporate their original tracks and covers into their live sets. "UMAASA," their latest song, was released in February of this year, and it gives a valuable lesson about self-love. This single is about choosing yourself first before holding on to someone who doesn't love you.
